The very worst provisions enable partisan Republicans to seize control of election boards in Democratic counties.
Georgia became the first state to pass anti-voting rights laws with the passage of SB 202. It resulted in a boycott by the MLB All-Star game and many of the major corporations headquartered in Georgia to express their disapproval of the actions of elected Republican officials, including Governor Kemp, to use a false narrative of election fraud in the 2020 Presidential election as justification to change our voting laws to make it harder to vote in upcoming elections.
