Fayette Democrats took a stand against gun violence by joining the March for Our Lives on Saturday, March 24, 2018. Thirty-two students, children, and adults participated in the March while more supporters helped create signs, donated snacks and travel money, and cheered the marchers in an enthusiastic send-off.
March for Our Lives-Atlanta attracted 30,000 marchers adding to the millions of marchers who participated In 800 marches worldwide. Thank you to Sara and Richard Cookson, Kelly Daniel, Garrett Reynolds, and Irene Cheyne for organizing the Fayette delegation.
