A speakeasy for women only. The ladies enjoyed a Ted Talk that featured Stacey Abrams, the first woman and first African American to be nominated by a major political party for Governor (Georgia). In the talk, Ms. Abrams specifically explored three important questions that anyone should ask themselves about everything they do: What do I want? Why do I want it? And how do I get it? She answered these questions for herself and also addresses the common obstacles that tend to get in our way. Stacey Abrams is a phenomenal leader and public servant. FDW is Georgia Proud of her! After a discussion of the Ted Talk, attendees shared realistic perspectives on the impact the Government Shutdown was having on local families and families across America.
