FDW Sponsors Bloom Closet in July to provide needed Socks and Underwear – Please Help Us Help Them
Every year, as part of our pay it forward to our community, Fayette Democratic Women chooses non-profit organizations that have a positive impact to support. This year we are supporting Fayette Factor’s Back to School Drive and Bloom Closet. Bloom Closet solves a fundamental need in our community as they support foster kids and provides needed clothing, books, toys, & school supplies with dignity and with a joyful experience at their cute and fun ‘store’. Drop off Dates
Please drop of new socks and underwear (Boys & Girls, all children’s sizes) Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursdays 10:00 am to 3:00 pm – to the attention of FDW.
Deadline for drop off is Thursday, July 29. Donations will be delivered to Bloom Closet on Saturday, July 31st.
Drop off Location
Donated items may be delivered to FCDC headquarters located at 185 Kathi Ave. Fayetteville, GA 30214.
We encourage our members to also join us as we give our gift to Bloom Closet. Contact Sheryl Corke with any questions.
Financial Donations
Financial contributions will be used to purchase socks and underwear in the sizes not donated and can be dropped off as above or mailed to P.O. Box 142951. Make the checks payable to Fayette Democratic Women with the comment FOR BLOOM CLOSET. You also pay by credit card at this link: https://fayettedemocraticwomen.org/donations/ . Please, add under “SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS” TYPE IN: For Bloom Closet.
If you do not put Bloom Closet in the special instructions, you cash donation will be added to FDW’s general fund.
