Delores Epps

In honor of National Women’s History Month, the March 17, 2018 meeting theme was “Sheroes Among Us: Fayette Women History Makers”.  Guest speakers were Fayette residents Dr. Portia Shields and Ms. Delores Epps (Pics attached).

Dr. Shields is a distinguished professional of “Firsts”: “first female president of Albany State University; first female Chief Executive Officer and Chief Academic Officer at Concordia College in Selma, AL, and the first female President of Tennessee State University.  Ms. Epps is a powerful entrepreneur.  She is the Founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Quality Associates, Inc., nationally award-winning consumer packaging company. Ms. Epps grew the company.

FDW extended a special invitation to girls, young women, and seasoned women to come and hear the inspirational life and career stories of two dynamic Fayette women.  They came and they were glad they did!

FDW monthly meetings are held every third Saturday at 1:00 pm at Heritage Bank, 440 North Jeff Davis Drive, Fayetteville, Georgia.
