Fayette Democratic Women’s White Papers
In October 2023, Fayette Democratic Women (FDW) surveyed its members on local/statewide issues of immediate concern. The top five issues identified were gun violence, reproductive rights, voter suppression, healthcare, and censorship. Members of FDW then volunteered to prepare a white paper on each of these issues. In the resulting white papers available below, each issue is presented clearly, concisely, factually, and in a problem/solution format.

Find Your District
Fayette County is split into four equally proportioned County Board of Commissioners and School Board Districts. Each District elects one member to both boards, and a 5th board member is elected from a county-wide “At-Large” District.
