On February 17, 2018, FDW welcomed Georgia Candidate for Governor Stacey Evans to its monthly meeting. Ms. Evans shared her platform and why she decided to run for Governor. As a state representative, Candidate Evans fought for and won the battle to restore significant funding for HOPE, a program that made college a possibility for her. As an attorney, she recovered $300 million for taxpayers from medical providers defrauding Medicare.
