A strong tornado tore through Newnan and Coweta County the wee morning hours Friday March 26th, leaving a path of devastation in its wake.

A lumber shortage has made the recovery slow and painful. The #NewnanStrong campaign immediately began as a way for the local community and beyond to get involved and help those who have suffered in Newnan. A very successful #NewnanStrong concert was held at the Fred on May 3rd with over $50,000 being generated from the proceeds.
